I LOATHE KOAs, I’m from the upper peninsula and my wife is from Detroit, and she’s all about KOAs, but we live in the upper Penninsula and I can’t justify settling for a KOA, when we’re are so many real campgrounds in the area.

I totally disagree with most of your negative review. We loved this campground and would definitely come again! We used to work at a KOA and completely understand the KOA vehicle traffic, especially in a park that is 110 acres. Maintaining a campground is a constant busy task. I agree that the escort process needs improvement. The young individuals cooking pancakes did a great job and they are J6 exchange students trying their best. We enjoyed the food at the Peak restaurant.

We love our Cricket SX-3. Main benefit for us is that it fits in the back of our pickup (6.5" bed) with the tailgate closed. The remote makes loading/unloading very easy.
